Einige Worte zur Erklärung über die Bar/Bat-Mizwa-Feier
Im jüdischen Glauben bezieht sich eine „Bar Mizwa“ (für einen Mann) und eine „Bat Mizwa“ (für eine Frau) auf einen Mann oder eine Frau, die das Alter für Rechenschaft und Verantwortlichkeit erreicht haben.
Bar-Mizwa bzw. Bat-Mizwa bedeutet traditionell „Sohn (=bar) bzw. Tochter (=bat) des Gebots“. Aber die tiefere und biblische Bedeutung von „Bar- oder Bat-Mitzwa“ ist „eingesetzter Erbe“ oder „verbundene/r Sohn oder Tochter“. Gläubige haben die Lehre (=Torah) Gottes geerbt. Weil wir Gott lieben, halten wir gerne seine Gebote.
NACH UNGEFÄHR EINEM Jahr wöchentlicher Vorbereitungen wird die Bar/Bat-Mizwa-Feier gewöhnlich auf oder nach dem Schabbat des 12. oder 13. Geburtstags der jungen Person gefeiert.
Das ist der allgemeine Brauch unter einigen aschkenasischen Juden (das sind Juden von germanischer Herkunft). Einige sephardische Juden (das sind Juden von spanischer Herkunft) tendieren dazu, die Bar/Bat-Mizwa erst nach dem 14. Geburtstag der jungen Person zu feiern.
Obwohl dies der normale Brauch ist, kann eine Person ihre Bar- oder Bat-Mizwa auch dann haben, wenn er oder sie kein Teenager mehr ist. Eine Bar- bzw. Bat-Mizwa wird oftmals gefeiert, um den Platz in der erwachsenen jüdischen Gemeinschaft zu formalisieren und zu feiern.
Für viele Gläubige an Yeschua, den Messias, ist die Bar- bzw. Bat-Mizwa eine Zeit über die Bedeutung ihres Glaubens nachzudenken.
WAS GESCHIEHT BEI einer Bar/Bat-Mizwa-Feier?
Der junge Mann bzw. die junge Frau kann:
1. den Segen der Torah Lesung auf hebräisch rezitieren,
2. den wöchentlichen Torah-Abschnitt (aus den fünf Mosebüchern) auf hebräisch lesen,
3. den wöchentlichen Haftarah-Abschnitt (Auszüge aus den Prophetenbüchern) auf hebräisch lesen,
4. eine Dvar Torah (Erklärung eines Bibelabschnittes) geben, die nicht unbedingt auf hebräisch sein muß,
5. eine Diskussion über den wöchentlichen Torah-Abschnitt leiten,
6. einen Teil oder den ganzen Gebetsgottesdienst am Vormittag leiten.
7. einen wöchentlichen intensiven Kurs besuchen.
In der Messianisch-Jüdischen Hausgemeinschaft Wien findet all das oben genannte und noch mehr statt, bevor das Bar/Bat Mizwa Zertifikat ausgestellt wird.
DEM BAR/BAT-Mizwah-Gottesdienst folgt oft ein feierliches Essen mit der Familie, Freunden und Mitgliedern der Gemeinschaft. Manchmal findet die Feier auch während eines anderen Gottesdienstes statt, bei dem die Torah gelesen wird, wie z. B. während dem Montag bzw. Dienstag Frühgottesdienst, oder einem Schabbat Nachmittag Gottesdienst, oder bei einem Vormittagsgottesdienst an Rosch Chodesch (Neumondfest, der Beginn des neuen biblischen Monats). Was genau bei einer Bar/Bat Mizwa während des Gottesdienstes geschieht, hängt von der jeweiligen Gemeinschaft ab.
ZWEITE BAR/BAT MIZWA
Unter praktizierenden Juden ist es auch üblich, wenn jemand 82 oder 83 Jahre alt geworden ist, eine zweite Bar/Bat Mizwa zu feiern; die biblische Logik dafür ist, dass eine „normale Lebensspanne“ 70 Jahre beträgt (so wie es ein Bibelvers sagt), sodass ein 82 Jähriger (oder älterer) nochmals das Alter für Rechenschaft und Verantwortlichkeit erreicht hat.

SCHABBAT ERFAHRUNG
Während des Bar/Bat Mizwa Kurses nimmt der Student mindestens zwei Mal im Monat an der Vorbereitung und Feier der Schabbat Erfahrung (von Sonnenuntergang am Freitag bis Sonnenuntergang am Samstag) teil: einmal im Monat beim Studenten zuhause (mindestens ein Gast wird eingeladen, sodass dadurch monatlich ein Messianisches Haus angeboten wird) und einmal im Monat im Haus des messianischen Rabbiners & Rebbezin.
FERNSTUDENTEN
Studenten, die diesen Kurs via Fernstudium belegen, nehmen auch mindestens zwei Mal monatlich an der Vorbereitung und Feier der ganzen Schabbat Erfahrung teil (von Sonnenuntergang am Freitag bis Sonnenuntergang am Samstag): einmal beim Studenten zuhause (mindestens ein Gast wird eingeladen, sodass dadurch monatlich ein Messianisches Haus angeboten wird) und einmal im Monat im Haus des nächstgelegenen bekannten messianischen Rabbiners & Rebbezin, sofern dies möglich ist. Falls dies nicht möglich ist, wird vor dem Beginn des Bar/Bat Mizwa Kurses eine passende Alternative besprochen.
48-STUNDEN LIVE-UNTERRICHT
Der Bar/Bat Mizwa Kurs, der in der Messianischen-Jüdischen Hausgemeinschaft Wien angeboten wird, ist ein intensiver Kurs auf Jeschiwa Ebene, der 48 Stunden Live-Unterricht beinhaltet, inklusive einem Kurs in biblischem Hebräisch.
Der Bar/Bat Mizwa Kurs der Messianischen-Jüdischen Hausgemeinschaft Wien ist keine staatlich anerkannte Ausbildung. Jedoch anerkennt die Messianisch-Jüdische Gemeinschaft Wien nach persönlicher Absprache andere messianische Ausbildungen (z. B. von UMJC oder MJAA Jeschiwa bzw. traditionelle Jeschiwas), ebenso andere messianische oder jüdische Arbeitserfahrungen.
Zusätzlich kann ein Bar/Bat Mizwa Kurs via Fernstudium das ganze Jahr hindurch stattfinden. Die Bar/Bat Mizwa-Fernstudenten sollten innerhalb des 12-monatigen Bar/Bat Mizwa Kurses mindestens an drei Schabbat Gottesdiensten an der Messianisch-Jüdischen Hausgemeinschaft Wien teilnehmen und mindestens eine Woche in der Messianisch-Jüdischen Hausgemeinschaft Wien im Haus des messianischen Rabbiners, der den Kurs leitet, und seiner Familie, mitleben.

BAR / BAT MITZVAH CELEBRATION
A few words of explanation about the Bar / Bat Mitzvah celebration.
In the Jewish Faith, "Bar Mitzvah" (for a male) or "Bat Mitzvah" (for a female) refers to a man or a woman, who has reached the age of accountability or responsibility.
Bar Mitzvah or Bat Mitzvah traditionally means "son (bar) or daughter (bat) of the commandment". However the deeper and biblical meaning of "Bar or Bat Mitzvah" is "appointed heir" or "connected son or daughter". Believers have inherited the Teaching (Torah) of God. Because we love God, we gladly keep his commands.
AFTER ABOUT A year of weekly preparations, the Bar / Bat Mitzvah celebration is usually on a Saturday on or after a young person's 12th or 13th birthday.
This is the general custom among some Ashkenazi Jews (that is, Jews of Germanic descent). Some Sephardi Jews (that is, Jews of Spanish descent) tend to celebrate until after the young person's 14th birthday.
Although this is the prevailing custom, an individual can have a Bar or Bat Mitzvah even when he or she is no longer a young teenager. A Bar or Bat Mitzvah is often celebrated as a way of formalizing and celebrating one's place in the adult Jewish community.
For many believers in Yeshua the Messiah, the Bar or Bat Mitzvah is a time to consider the implications of his or her faith in Yeshua.
WHAT TAKES PLACE in a Bar / Bat Mitzvah celebration? The young man or young woman may:
1. recite the blessings for the Torah reading in Hebrew,
2. read the week's portion from the Torah (five books of Moses) in Hebrew,
3. read the week's portion from the Haftara (selections from the books of the Prophets) in Hebrew,
4. speak a Dvar Torah (explanation of the Bible passage) which may not necessarily be in Hebrew,
5. lead a discussion of that week's Torah portion,
6. lead part or all of the morning prayer services,
7. study on a weekly intensive course.
At the Messianic Jewish Community of Vienna, all of the above and more take place before the issuance of a Bar / Bat Mitzvah certificate.
THE BAR / BAT MITZVAH service is often followed by a celebratory meal with family, friends, and members of the community. Sometimes the celebration is during another service that includes reading from the Torah, such as a Monday or Thursday morning service, or a Shabbat afternoon service, or a morning service on Rosh Chodesh (the beginning of the new Biblical month). Precisely what takes place in the Bar / Bat Mitzvah during the service varies from one community to another.
SECOND BAR / BAT MITZVAH
Among observant Jews, it is also customary for one who has reached the age of 82 or 83 to celebrate a second bar / bat mitzvah, under the biblical logic that a "normal" lifespan is 70 years (as according to a Bible verse), so that an 82 year-old (or older) can be considered as once again having attained the age of accountability or responsibility.

SHABBAT EXPERIENCE
During the Bar / Bat Mitzvah Course, the students participate in the preparation and celebration of the Shabbat experience (from sunset Friday to sunset Saturday) at least twice a month: once a month in the student’s home (inviting at least one guest, thereby providing a monthly Messianic House, where one can experience Shabbat), and once a month in the home of the messianic rabbi & rebbetzin.
LONG-DISTANCE STUDENTS
Students who are taking the Bar / Bat Mitzvah course via long distance also participate in the preparation and celebration of the Shabbat experience (from sunset Friday to sunset Saturday) at least twice a month: once a month in the student’s home (inviting at least one guest, thereby providing a monthly Messianic House, where one can experience Shabbat), and once a month in the home of the nearest and known messianic rabbi & rebbetzin, if possible. If this is not possible, then a suitable alternative will be discussed before one starts his or her Bar / Bat Mitzvah course.
48-HOURS OF LIVE-INSTRUCTION
The Bar / Bat Mitzvah course offered in the Messianic Jewish Community of Vienna, is an in-depth, yeshiva level course, which contains 48 hours of live instruction, inclusive of a biblical Hebrew course.
The Bar / Bat Mitzvah course of the Messianic Jewish Community of Vienna is not a State recognized training. However, the Messianic Jewish Community of Vienna, upon personal consultation, will recognize other Messianic trainings (such as from UMJC or MJAA Yeshiva or even traditional Yeshivas), as well as other Messianic or Jewish work experiences.
Additionally, a Bar / Bat Mitzvah course via long distance learning is available year-round. Those taking the long distance Bar / Bat Mitzvah course will need to participate and visit (at least three Shabbat services of the Messianic Jewish Fellowship of Vienna within twelve months of taking the Bar / Bat Mitzvah course) and live and stay (for at least one week) within the Messianic Jewish Fellowship of Vienna in the home of the Messianic Rabbi, who is teaching the Bar / Bat Mitzvah course.

La fкte de la Bar-Mitsvah ou Bat-Mitsvah
Quelques mots pour expliquer en quoi consiste une fкte de Bar-Mitsvah ou de Bat-Mitsvah.
Dans la tradtion juive, la Bar-Mitsvah (pour un homme) ou la Bat-Mitsvah (pour une femme) est la fкte marquant le passage d’un jeune homme ou d’une jeune femme а l’вge oщ l’on devient conscient et responsable de ses actions.
Traditionellement, Bar-Mitsvah ou Bat-Mitsvah signifie « fils (bar) , ou fille (bat) du commandement ». Mais la dйfinition biblique plus profonde dйfinit la Bar-Mitsvah ou la Bat-Mitsvah comme йtant « l’hйritier/l’hйritiиre qui a йtй mis(e) en position de percevoir ses droits », ou comme йtant « un fils/une fille de l’alliance ». Les croyants ont hйritй l’enseignement de D.ieu (la Torah). Parce que nous aimons D.ieu, alors nous nous tenons de tout coeur а Ses commandements.
La Bar-Mitsvah ou la Bat-Mitsvah se fкte le Shabbat qui suit le 12иme ou le 13иme anniversaire de l’enfant, aprиs environ une annйe de prйparation.
Ceci est la tradition de la plupart des Juifs ashkйnazes (ce sont les Juifs d’origine germanique). Les Juifs sйpharades (ce sont les Juifs d’origine espagnole) ont tendance а fкter la Bar-Mitsvah ou la Bat-Mitsvah seulement aprиs le 14иme anniversaire de l’enfant.
Malgrй cette pratique traditionelle, une personne peut aussi fкter sa Bar-Mitsvah ou sa Bat-Mitsvah quand elle n’est plus adolescente. Une Bar-Mitsvah ou une Bat-Mitsvah est alors fкtйe pour marquer d’une maniиre plus formelle la place d’une personne adulte au sein d’une communautй juive.
Pour beaucoup de croyants messianiques, la Bar-Mitsvah ou la Bat-Mitsvah est un temps de rйflexion intense sur la signification de leur foi en Yeshoua le Messie.
Que se passe-t-il lors d’une Bar-Mitsvah ou la Bat-Mitsvah ?
Le jeune homme ou la jeune femme est alors en mesure de :
rйciter la bйnйdiction de la lecture de la Torah en hйbreu ;
lire la portion hebdomadaire de la Torah (les cinq livres de Moпse) en hйbreu ;
lire la portion hebdomadaire de la Haftarah (extraits des prophиtes) en hйbreu ;
donner un dvar-Torah (une explication de la portion hebdomadaire donnйe), ce qui ne se fait pas obligatoirement en hйbreu ;
diriger une discussion concernant la portion hebdomadaire de la Torah ;
diriger tout ou une partie du service de priиre matinal ;
participer а un cours hebdomadaire intensif.
Dans la communautй messianique de Vienne nous pratiquons tout cela, et plus encore, avant de donner а une personne le certificat de Bar-Mitsvah ou de Bat-Mitsvah.
Un repas festif avec la famille, les amis et les membres de la communautй suit le culte de Bar-Mitsvah ou de Bat-Mitsvah. Quelques fois la fкte de Bar-Mitsvah ou de Bat-Mitsvah peut se dйrouler pendant un autre culte, dans lequel on lit la Torah, par exemple un lundi ou un mardi pendant le culte du matin, ou lors d’un culte de Shabbat aprиs-midi, ou lors d’un culte de jour de fкte comme Rosh-haShana, Rosh-Khodesh (fкte de nйomйnie en dйbut de chaque mois biblique). Le dйroulement exact d’une Bar-Mitsvah ou d’une Bat-Mitsvah lors d’un culte dйpend de chaque communautй.
La deuxiиme Bar-Mitsvah ou Bat-Mitsvah
Les Juifs pratiquants ont par ailleurs l’habitude de fкter une deuxiиme Bar-Mitsvah ou une deuxiиme Bat-Mitsvah pour une personne ayant atteint l’вge de 82 ou 83 ans. La logique biblique qui se cache derriиre cette pratique est le fait que « l’espйrance de vie normale » dans la Bible est de 70 ans. Une personne ayant atteint 82 ou 83 and a donc atteint une deuxiиme fois l’вge auquel on devient conscient et responsable de ses actions.

Les prйparations а la Bar-Mitsvah ou а la Bat-Mitsvah se font chaque semaine (environ 2h/semaine), ceci sur plusieurs mois voire un an.

Cours а distance :
Les йtudiants qui veulent s’inscrire а distance pour la prйparation а la Bar-Mitsvah ou а la Bat-Mitsvah doivent, tout comme les йtudiants participant aux cours sur place, participer au moins deux fois par mois aux prйparations et а la fкte de Shabbat (depuis le coucher du soleil le vendredi soir jusqu’au coucher du soleil le samedi soir) : une premiиre fois la cйlйbration du Shabbat a lieu au domicile de l’йtudiant, qui invite au moins un invitй, ceci de faзon а proposer tous les mois un accueil messianique, et une deuxiиme fois la cйlйbration du Shabbat a lieu au domicile du rabbin et de la rebbetsin messianiques les plus proches du domicile de l’йtudiant, si cela est possible. En cas d’impossibilitй, nous discuterons avec l’йtudiant en particulier afin de trouver une solution.
Les cours des 48h en direct
Les cours de Bar-Mitsvah ou de Bat-Mitsvah proposйs par la communautй messianique de Vienne sont des cours intensifs de niveau de Yeshiva et comportant des cours de 48h en direct, y compris des cours d’hйbreu biblique.
Les cours de Bar-Mitsvah ou de Bat-Mitsvah de la communautй messianique de Vienne n’est pas une formation reconnue par l’Etat. La communautй juive-messianique de Vienne reconnaоt toutefois les autres formations messianiques (par ex. du UMJC ou des Yeshivot de la MJAA, ainsi que des autres yeshivot traditionelles), aprиs entretien avec le rabbin, ainsi que les autres expйriences ou travaux juifs-messianiques ou juifs traditionels.
Les cours de Bar-Mitsvah ou de Bat-Mitsvah par correspondance peuvent se dйrouler toute l’annйe. Les йtudiants en cours de Bar-Mitsvah ou de Bat-Mitsvah par correspondance doivent pendant cette annйe de formation participer а au moins trois Shabbats et cultes de la communautй juive-messianique de Vienne et rester au moins une semaine entiиre chez le rabbin dirigeant les cours, ceci afin de participer activement а la vie messianique de la communautй.
